Las Vegas with Grandparents

Januray 25~29 we had another trip to vegas. Many friends thought 5 days were too long, but it turned out this vegas trip was the one I enjoyed most. It's because my parents were together with us; besides, I like the hotel we stayed--a two-bedroom condo suite with two baths, kitchen/dining area (best of all it's under $100/per night). With a little research, vegas can be a nice place to bring the little kids to.

一月25~29日我們去拉斯維加斯玩. 許多朋友覺得5天太長了, 但這次賭城之行是我最享受的一次. 原因之一是有我爸媽的同行. 此外, 我很喜歡這次住的旅館--兩房兩衛浴加上廚房/用餐區(每晚不到100美元). 些許的研究會讓拉斯維加斯也值得帶小孩去玩.

Murrieta Hot Springs with Grandparents

January 16~18 we had a family retreat with Danny's mom and my parents at Calvary Chapel Conference Center in Murrieta Hot Springs. It was a short but fun trip. We visited beautiful wineries, dipped in hot springs, enjoyed delicious food, and even went shopping at an outlet on our way back home.

1月16~18我們家和我的爸媽, 凱旭的媽媽到Murrieta Hot Springs玩. 雖然行程很短但還蠻豐富的. 我們參觀了釀酒廠, 泡泡溫泉, 享受美食, 甚至回程還去工廠直營購物中心逛街.











We almost lost Noah's favorite car "Initial D" (Toyota AE86, which is Danny's car for racing) at the outlet. Noah forgot to take the car aboard, but luckily no one took it away. Believe it or not, he holds it when he sleeps and carries it everywhere with him even to the restroom. We have to try very hard not to lose it again. Parenting isn't easy at all!

我們幾乎把嘉信的"頭文字D"(豐田AE86--是凱旭用來賽車的)丟在購物中心. 嘉信忘了拿著車車上火車, 但很慶幸沒人拿走. 信不信由你, 嘉信連睡覺都要拿著它, 隨身攜帶著它甚至去廁所. 我們得更努力不把它弄丟. 帶小孩可真不容易哩!

The 300th Post

This is my 300th post. It's about 100 posts a year--quite impressive! However, is my blog more and more like a photo album? I should put more thoughts on it. A lot of funny things happened daily in our family, but I just couldn't find time to blog... so I hope the pictures serve the purpose during this period of time.

Happy 3rd Birthday!

I still can't believe Noah is three years old! In my heart he will always be a baby to me. My eyes get wet when I think of sending him to school in the summer... Really need some time to adjust!

很難相信嘉信已三歲了! 在我心中他永遠是我的小baby. 一想到夏天要送他去上學就有點心酸... 得需要一些時間來調適.

Our tradition: celebrating the birthday with our family. (Did you see Noah's birthday "brownie"?)
