This Concludes November's Blog (Part I)

We had a delicious dinner with our friend Connie at California Pizza Kitchen, which was located at the Pike of Long Beach (a very cool place to visit).

Noah loves snuggling a comforter. Thank God it's not his security blanket--not easy to carry around!

嘉信很喜歡抱著棉被. 還好這不是他的安全毯--要隨時帶著它可不容易哩!

Noah is having another class called "Parent & Me Growing & Learning Together." I found out he doesn't like doing craft but loves bubbles!

嘉信上新的一堂課. 我發現他不喜歡做勞作, 但很喜歡吹泡泡時間.




Having "pho" (Vietnamese noodle soup) with church friends. Boy, that's a lot of beef!
和教會朋友去吃越南河粉. 真多牛肉啊!

My Carpool Companion

I felt content to see Noah sleeping--even when I was stuck in the traffic! (Did I mention Danny could sleep anytime anywhere?)

看到睡著的嘉信使我感到很滿足, 即使是塞在車陣裡. (我有提過凱旭能在隨時隨處睡覺嗎?)

Below are some of the reasons why Noah is a really good carpool companion: (I proved it again that Danny's genes are stronger than mine!)

• When I braked urgently, Noah would say "be careful" to me (in a calming tone of voice, different from my panic tone to Danny, which he hates) --Danny is a calm person.
• When I couldn't find our car in the parking lot, Noah would point at the direction where it was after I asked him. --Danny has a good sense of direction.
• Noah used to say "we're home" as soon as he saw the driveway, but now he said so when we were still blocks away from home. --(same as above)
• Noah always saw daddy's car before I did when we drove our cars separately. --Danny has good eyes.
• I often got "live music" if Noah was in the mood. --I got that from Danny too!

為何嘉信是我最好的開車伙伴?

• 當我煞車比較急時, 嘉信會對我說"小心"(是用鎮定的語調, 而不像我用凱旭最不喜歡的驚慌語氣對他說). --凱旭是個沉著的人.
• 當我在停車場找不到車時, 問嘉信他就會指出車子的方向. --凱旭很有方向感.
• 以前當車子開到家門時嘉信會說"到了", 現在是離家幾條街前就會說了. --(同上)
• 當我和凱旭一起開兩部車, 嘉信總是比我先看到爸爸開的車. --凱旭的眼睛很好.
• 我常有現場歌聲可聽--只要嘉信的興致來了. --凱旭很愛唱歌.

Baby #2 Updates

Last Thursday I had my first ultrasound and everything went great! The baby was 3.4cm long (not including the length of legs) and 10 weeks old (in the 11th week now). When I saw the little hands and legs moving (waving to me!) and the heart beating fast (twice as fast as ours), I almost cried!

上星期四第一次照超音波, 一切都正常. 胎兒3.4公分長(不包括腳長), 10週大. 當我看到baby的小手小腳在動(是向我招手吧), 心臟快速地跳著(胎兒的心跳比大人快一倍), 我感動的快哭出來了!

Busy as a Bee (Part II)

After cutting back the length of the video, I finally uploaded it successfully :) The original video was 3-minute long, and yes, Noah kept spinning crazy like this (good balance!). As I told you, he was as busy as a bee.

在剪短影片的長度後, 我終於成功地上傳 :) 原本的影片有3分鐘長, 是的, 嘉信從頭到尾像這樣轉個不停(平衡感不錯喔). 如同我所說, 他像小蜜蜂一樣忙.

Here's an old video which was recorded a month ago. I name it "Pure Joy." It was funny that after 10-second pause he answered "yummy" to my question: "Taste good?" btw, I guarantee this was the only lollipop I've ever given him.

這影片是我一個月前拍的. 標題為"純真的享受". 好笑的是嘉信在細細品味10秒鐘之後才回答我的問題. 附帶一提的是我只給嘉信吃過這一支棒棒糖而已喔.
