Taiwan Trip--Tidal Park

[March 23~25] Our church friends in Taiwan invited us to a 2-day/2-night trip in Yi-Lan, which is in northeastern Taiwan. It's a shame that I'd never been to Yi-Lan before (and I lived in Taiwan for 24 years!)--it is known not only for the beautiful natural vistas but also for the cuisine that makes the area a favorite with gourmands! Our first stop was Pei-Kuan Tidal Park.

On the east coast, the mountains fall away steeply to the Pacific and make the landscape looks dramatic.

Was Noah thinking "What a beautiful view!" or "What to eat for dinner?"

We were very lucky to stay at the new guesthouse in Yi-Lan University because one of our friends works there. It's so cozy!
